What we check before a provider can appear on Craftnect.
Verification before visibility
A provider profile is never shown to customers until their verification is approved. That review requires government photo ID plus proof of residency or work authorization; providers offering a regulated trade (electrical or plumbing work) must also submit a valid trade certification.
Location privacy
A provider's exact address is never shown on the map or in search — only an approximate, fuzzed position and their general service area. Your own exact address stays private until a booking is confirmed.
Payments held in escrow
When you pay for a booking, funds are held by Craftnect until the job is confirmed complete — a provider is never paid out before you've had the chance to confirm the work was done.

If something feels wrong during a job, use the report action on the booking, or see Report a concern.
