What we check before a provider can appear on Craftnect.
Verification before visibility
A provider profile is never shown to customers until their verification is approved. That review requires government photo ID plus proof of residency or work authorization; providers offering a regulated trade (electrical or plumbing work) must also submit a valid trade certification.
Location privacy
Public discovery shows approximate provider locations or the general area of a declared venue. A provider's private home or base address is not used as a public venue. When a provider explicitly declares a service venue or meeting point, its exact destination is shared with the booking's authorized participants after payment and confirmation. Customer service addresses also stay private until the booking's contact-access rules allow disclosure.
Payment and completion
Payments are processed through Stripe. Provider earnings follow the booking's completion, review and dispute controls. Bank or card withdrawals also depend on account eligibility and Stripe's funds availability; a completed booking does not guarantee an immediate bank deposit.
